Parenting

Much parent education is carried on through the channels of adult education, both formally and informally. The Child Study Association (founded 1888) and the National Congress of Parents and Teachers (founded 1897) are active in disseminating literature and promoting discussion groups.

Our Talking Hands honorees may be found either by searching by the year the honor was earned or by the teaching and learning element in which they excell.

All applicants who follow our submission policy will be given specific reasons for failure to obtain a minimum score of twenty-three (23) upon written request.  However, upon correction and submission to our judges, this act will not constitute approval. All of our judges must be in agreement for the award to be presented and their decision is final and not subject to disclosure. Privacy notification is apart of application forms.
