Demonstrate a Partnership

Partnerships forge a dynamic relationship with parents, children, other organizations and fellow webmasters by adopting and modifying their aims or goals within the production of individual web sites. Some narrative examples are below:

Child Safe Productions: ICRA and WatchDog are two of the voluntary rating systems that provide a line of code in a web site production as a META tag and enable parental control over viewing from a home computer. A producer who adopts either or something similar is saying to parents that they have followed parental desires for safe child viewing.

Opinions or Facts: The separation of what is authoritative information and opinion is by footnotes or citations.  Just because we see or read something on the Internet, does not make it true, or untrue for that matter. Having the ability to check sources of information is vital to any partnership, which is essentially based on trust.

Copyright and Privacy Statements: Both statements when present on a web site are in effect a partnership between many participants of the World Wide Web and include publishers, songwriters, libraries and fellow webmasters.
